SHIPPING:

House of Tomes will do its utmost to deliver all orders within 1 – 7 working days. We think it’s important to deliver our products so that you can enjoy them in your home as soon as possible. 

House of Tomes is not liable if delivery takes place at a later time. House of Tomes has the right to deliver the order up to thirty days after the order without being declared in default by the customer. If the term is exceeded, the customer will receive written confirmation. The customer can then terminate the agreement free of charge. The customer will then receive the paid amount back as soon as possible, but no later than thirty days after termination.

Deliveries are made by Post NL and or additional postal courier depending on the location. If the courier fails to deliver your order on the first attempt, he/she will leave a message informing you when the second attempt will be made. This process is repeated one more time, after which the courier will contact you to discuss your wishes regarding delivery (send to another address, back to the sender). All items are insured by House of Tomes until delivered to your address. Any complaints about the condition in which the goods were delivered must be made to House of Tomes no later than two working days of receipt of the goods by email.

RETURNS: 

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and undamaged, in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@houseoftomes.shop. If your return is accepted, you'll need to send your item to us, please be aware that we do not provide return labels, shipping cost will be covered by you. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at hello@houseoftomes.shop.
